An action film (AO 1945: action film) is a genre of film that usually involves a story of protagonists of good versus antagonists of evil, who resolve their disputes with the use of physical force, in which good always prevails over evil . Action films are common to mix with police genres and crimes, westerns and war, among others. They are usually overproductions, with high concept (high technology), which often resort to the use of dubbing and special effects. Most copies of science fiction and adventure are also action films, like the "Star Wars" saga. Usually the protagonists fight for an objective like a treasure, the solution of a mystery or the rescue of someone.
