Alice in Wonderland is a 2010 American film directed by Tim Burton and based on the classic Alice in Wonderland written by Lewis Carroll. Filming for the film began in May 2008 and opened on March 5, 2010 in US theaters. In Brazil, the premiere date was April 21, but was later changed to April 23, with the explanation that Tim Burton's film will reach a wider audience, reaching more movie theaters.
