Who was Jim Rohn?

     In addition to being a speaker and entrepreneur, throughout the 1970s Jim Rohn held a series of seminars for Standard Oil. At the same time, he participated in a personal development activity called "Adventures in Conquest", which featured live seminars and personal development workshops. He has presented seminars around the world for over 40 years.

     Rohn mentored Mark Hughes (the founder of Herbalife) for the rest of his career, and motivational speaker Tony Robbins in the 1970s. Others who credit Rohn with influencing their careers include authors Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield (Soup book series), author/teacher Brian Tracy, Todd Smith and T. Harv Eker. Rohn is also the co-author of the novel Twelve Pillars with Chris Widener.

     Rohn was the recipient of the National Speakers Association's CPAE Award for speaking with perfection. He is also the author of 17 different books, audio and video media.
