Margot Elise Robbie (Dalby, July 2, 1990) is an Australian actress. Born in Dalby, Queensland, she studied theater at Somerset College and started her career in Australian independent films in the late 2000s, before being cast on the soap opera Neighbors (2008-2011); subsequently he moved to the United States, where he starred in the Pan Am series (2011-2012).
She came to prominence with her breakthrough role in the film The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), for which she won the Empire Award for Best Female Revelation and was nominated for the Best Revelation MTV Movie, in addition to others for Best Cast, such as Critics' Choice Movie. Her career continued to grow with leading roles in Focus (2015), such as Jane Porter in The Legend of Tarzan (2016) and Harley Quinn in Suicide Squad (2016), winning the Critics' Choice for Best Actress in an Action Film (representing Harlequin) and a Saturn nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a Cinema; and Birds of Prey (2020).
