The film Blade (1998):

     Blade is a 1998 American action horror film directed by Stephen Norrington with a screenplay by David S. Goyer based on the comic books created by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan for Marvel Comics.

     This film spawned three sequels: Blade II, released in 2002 and Blade: Trinity, released in December 2004, and the television series Blade: The Series 2006, whose pilot episode is titled Blade: The Next Generation.
